His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the President has taken cognisance of our loyalty and hard work – As the only region securing over 90% of the votes for the NDC, winning all the 18 seats, including recapturing Hohoe. We also reduced the influence of the NPP by 47% in the Volta Region resulting in the emphatic victory secured in 2024 general elections. As such, our meaningful contributions shall be rewarded accordingly,” the statement noted.

Chairman Agbavitor urged the rank and file of the party to exercise some level of restraint and be considerate in their expectations, whiles looking forward to other opportunities in appointments.

“Be rest assured that leadership shall continue to work hard in the interest of the party and the people of the Volta Region so far as appointments are concerned,” the NDC Chairman assured.
