The monetization of Ghana’s politics which pushes many very qualified persons out has been identified as the root of corruption; as the winners tend to steal to recover their investment.
Many public officers steal State Funds and State Assets including State Lands to build a war chest to contest for elected office.
The Assin South Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyepong and Chairman of the Parliament Defence and Interior Committee, has publicly accused Stephen Ntim of stealing and selling of State Lands during his tenure as head of the Lands Commission.
Kennedy Agyepong admits to being a victim of the Stephen Ntim State Lands Stealing and Selling Scam at the Lands Commission during his tenure.
The ostentatious spending at the NPP National Delegates Conference which necessitated the party to issue a statement to candidates to scale down the evidence of same, including the optics by the removal of Billboards, which was corroborated by the Opposition NDC in their message read during the event at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday 16th July, 2022.
Unexplained wealth and spending beyond one’s means were some of the things the Special Prosecutor promised to investigate.
The widespread Looting of State Lands and Bungalows by public officials, their friends, families and business associates have become the subject of national interest and subject of some investigation by the Special Prosecutor.
The Civil Aviation Landgrab alleged by Stephen Ntim, Clemence Gyato, Peter Amewu, among others has not received as much attention as the Sir John’s Loot.
The Ghana Police Service also claimed to have investigated the Cantonments Civil Aviation Landgrab but failed to name the thieves except to say that the First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo was not involved, leaving everybody asking WHO ARE THE FACELESS THIEVES DEVELOPING THE STATE LAND?
The Lands Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor and the Lands Commission are sheepishly looking on as the construction work continues on the lands acquired by the State for Civil Aviation purposes at Cantonments, Adenta and Legon.
The Lands acquired by the State for the CSIR which have been encroached upon saw massive demolition of the property of the squatters so why not Civil Aviation Lands?
The Lands Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor expresses his disgust on national television as he laments the phenomenon of people who are revered in our society go round on weekends looking for State Lands and Bungalows with little or no activity then come to his office to pressure him to allocate these prime lands to them.
Samuel Abu Jinapor must name all those he claims have been taking over the Prime State Lands and Bungalows.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
The Special Prosecutor must get to work immediately on the Stephen Ntim State Lands Stealing and Selling allegation and subsequent Vote Buying.
Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators.
