Wasted Years of The Akufo-Addo-Bawumia Government: Sector by Sector Failure

President Akufo-Addo is going round on a "Breaking-the-Eight" campaigning for his party to be retained in power; instead of acting on the two (2) Article 146 Petitions for the removal of Jean Adukwei Mensa as EC Chairperson.

Ursula Owusu and Joe Anokye are threatening to disconnect Ghanaians from the National Telecommunications system…

The NCA is threatening to carry out the directive even though the Ghana Card they insist Ghanaians must have before owning SIM cards are not available to all Ghanaians and the NIA which issues the Ghana Card says it cannot meet the SIM Re-Registration deadline…

Then the Jean Adukwei Mensa-Bossman Asare led Electoral Commission also insists on going on the same failed path of using the Ghana Card for Ghanaians who want to have Voters ID Cards to enable them vote in the 2024 election even if many will be disenfranchised…

President Akufo-Addo is going round on a “Breaking-the-Eight” campaigning for his party to be retained in power; instead of acting on the two (2) Article 146 Petitions for the removal of Jean Adukwei Mensa as EC Chairperson.

President John Mahama solved Dumsor and left Excess Generation Capacity to support rapid industrialization, with the sector operators having the ability to borrow on their own balance sheets.

The ECG currently has no network at its vending points so Ghanaians cannot buy credit for their prepaid meters…

President Akufo-Addo came to reverse all the energy sector gains; after the AMERI NOVATION scandal in which million of Dollars were to be stolen,  he created PDS to takeover the assets of ECG leading to Ghana losing millions of Dollars from the Millennium Challenge Compact and prepaid money stolen by family members, associates and his barber.

The ECG was recently chasing Ghanaians for cash, even forcing prepaid meters on Ghanaians at gunpoint with the Military brutalizing Ghanaians who resisted…

The ECG cut off Ghanaians from the grid, denying BECE students electricity to study fo their exams, hospitals and even mortuaries were not spared likewise businesses collapsed while households had their perishables rotting without any compensation…

The Governor of the Bank of Ghana and his deputy are still at post despite the monetary policy and their illegal financing of government budgets being partly responsible for the current Economic Mess.

Ken Ofori-Atta and Charles Adu Boahen have not been sacked despite being responsible for the Fiscal Policy mess and their binge borrowing motivated by the fact that their private companies Databank and Black Star Advisors get richer each time they go borrowing in the name of Ghanaians, while Ghana gets more indebted…

Looting of State Lands has resulted in government claiming it cannot find land for developmental projects yet Benito Owusu-Bio is still at post…

Samuel Abu Jinapor cannot stop the stealing of the Cantonments Civil Aviation Land, but can go on television to lamented on how the people who are revered in our society go round on weekends looking for State Lands and Bungalows with little or no activity then come to his office to pressure him to allocate these prime lands to them

George Mireku Duker was conspicuously absent when the Lands Minister went to some abandoned Galamsey sites in Ashanti Region.

George Mireku Duker has been accused of being involved in Galamsey particularly in the Western Region yet he is still the one in charge of fighting Galamsey by President Akufo-Addo; recall his Galamsey Fight with Charles Bissiu…

Samuel Abu Jinapor, after supervising the catastrophic failure in fighting Galamsey and protecting State Lands has been lamenting instead of resigning and blaming everybody but himself and his deputies…

Multimedia’s journalists showed drone video of active Galamsey site in the Western Region and expressed shock that the Lands Minister deliberately chose to rather go to an abandoned Galamsey site in the Ashanti Region to complain when the Lands Ministry had very expensive Drones and also was working with the Military, Police and National Security…

President Akufo-Addo put his Presidency on the line for the fight against Galamsey but as Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces and the Chairman of the National Security Council he has failed to deliver,  he could not even see Aisha Huang sneak in and out of Ghana but was worried about being booed by Ghanaians at the Global Citizens Concert at the Independence Square…

President Akufo-Addo’s hometown Chief and his Okyeman Vigilante group yesterday were on the rampage amid the gunshots and stone throwing that characterised their supposed fight against Galamsey…

The evidence that emerged from the Kyebi Galamsey Gang War pointed to the fact that the Community Mining which was inaugurated by George Mireku Duker was just a euphemism for allowing NPP party people to engage in Galamsey…

The same way Chinese Galamseyers are enjoying Military and Delta Force protection while they mine in the forests destroying farmlands and deliberately targeting Cocoa farms, diverting rivers and water bodies which are left polluted and unfit for drinking…

Ghana’s Education sector still has no textbooks for students, no food for students who have been fed with Passco as a government policy only for the current minister, Dr. Adu-Twum to complain of Ghana producing Chew-Pour-Pass & Forget graduates instead of CRITICAL THINKING STUDENTS.

Guess what, Sampson Lardi Anyenini was full of praise for Dr. Adu Twum’s speecheven as were Teacher Trainees picketing forgetting that Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum was with Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh and together implemented President Akufo-Addo’s shambolic Free SHS Policy that is now up for review or is it cancellation?

Did Sampson ever praise Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyeman for the President John Mahama E-Blocks?

University Teachers are threatening to soon go on a strike in protest against government’s failure to honour the conditions of service and pay them…

Recently another teachers block decided to simultaneously take their annual leave which had the effect of a strike action forcing government to make concessions that government will not fulfill only to postpone the problem…

Ghana’s Health Sector is no better as Nurses and newly trained Medical Doctors are not being recruited because of lack of funds while COVID-19 funds have been stolen, diverted to party officials or fronts like Frontier Healthcare Service siphoning COVID-19 testing money and Enterprise Insurance failing to pay Frontline Healthcare workers…

The deliberately delayed University of Ghana Medical Centre is finally opened and perfectly contrasts the vision of President John Mahama with the Hapless Hopelessness of Akufo-Addo whose Agenda 111 remains in the realms of his moribund Cathedral, La General Hospital and Trade Fair…

Many communities led by their chiefs are demonstrating over poor roads despite President Akufo-Addo’s declaration of “Year of Roads” for three years..

Yesterday, President Akufo-Addo’s hometown which has all its roads asphalt was flooded forcing the ferrying of stranded students and residents…

Food Inflation is driving the country’s inflation when Government is claiming succes in its phantom Planting for food and jobs which is not creating any jobs for the unemployed youth.

Youth Unemployment has been determined by Former Chief of Staff Kojo Mpiani and General Nunoo-Mensah as the catalyst of the Uprising Akufo-Addo predicted in the studios of Peace FM on Kwame Sefa Kayi’s Kokrokoo show.

Need I say more?

God Save Our Homeland Ghana and help us survive the WASTED YEARS OF THE AKUFO ADDO-ADDO-BAWUMIA GOVERNMENT.

PS:

Is President Akufo-Addo still promising to make Accra the Cleanest City in Africa when the City Cleaners are unpaid their GHc200 salaries for almost a year, with Accra engulfed in Borla everywhere?
