We Need Amenities For Improved Quality Of Life – Nana Asare Bediako Ababio III

He urged the chiefs in Akyemansa District to guide the citizens to ensure a peaceful election come December 2024.

The chief of Akyem Akokoaso in the Akyemansa District of the Eastern Region, Nana Asare Bediako Ababio III, has appealed for benevolent support to provide amenities like potable water, recreational facilities (playgrounds, sports fields, etc.), infrastructural facilities (bus and taxi stands, car parks, public restrooms, etc.), and ultramodern clinic.

Nana Asare Bediako Ababio III said social and community facilities are integral to the success of modern residential developments, adding that the amenities would contribute to a high quality of life for residents.

“I became a chief in Akyem Akokoaso about two months ago, but I’m facing so many challenges and one of them that my elders and I have started tackling is the toilet facility. I have started building an ultramodern toilet facility for males and females in Akyem Akokoaso. I started it with about 300 bags of Cement Some stakeholders also gave us 100 bags of cement but we still need more to complete the project,” he explained.

The Chief thanked the Minister of Works and Housing and Member of Parliament for Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, for his unwavering support, who also promised to build another ultramodern toilet facility for the good people of Akyem Akokoaso this election year.

Nana Asare Bediako Ababio III also pleaded with the government, stakeholders, politicians, and corporate organizations to come to their aid to build more physical infrastructures in Akyem Akokoaso.

He also called on the citizens of Akyem Akokoaso living abroad to come and help their town.

Nana Asare Bediako Ababio lll gave fifteen thousand Ghana cedis (GHS15,000) cash to the best fifteen (15) senior high school students in Akyem Akokoaso during AKSTECH’s 40th-anniversary celebration.
