Wednesday September 21, declared as holiday day

“The general public is hereby informed that Wednesday, 21st September, 2022 which marks Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day, is a Statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout  the country.”

The Minister for the Interior, Ambrose Dery has declared Wednesday September  21, as a statutory public holiday.

The day is set aside to mark the memorial of Ghana’s first president Dr Kwame Nkrumah.

The day is to be observed as such in all parts of the country, Mr Dery said in a statement on Monday September 19′.he stressed.
