We’ve Spent GHc Over 7 Billion On Flagship Programmes-Gov’t

The implementation of the government’s flagship programmes including the free senior, school, the planting for food and jobs, the one-district-one-factory, the nation’s builders corps among other others cost the nation GHc7,763,668,451.00 billion.

According to Ken Ofori-Atta, the Finance Minister, the free SHS cost the nation GHc 2,429,257,748.00 whereas the Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme was at GHc1,046,749,741.00.

That of the Nation Builders Corps was GHC 840,000,000.00 with the School Feeding Programme costing us GHc 470,000,000.00.
