‘What a blessing’ – Cina Soul talks about successful collaboration with artistes on her latest album

Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Cina Soul has expressed excitement for a successful collaboration with colleague artistes on her new album ‘Did I Lie’.

In an interview with Felicia Osei on Onua FM, March 20, 2025, Cina Soul disclosed that the artistes featured on her album showed much love with zero stress while working on her project.

She emphasised that the artistes featured on the album were “kind and receptive” as they sent their verses of the song sooner than expected.

“The features on my album, they showed me so much love. They didn’t stress me, I just sent them the song, they sent it back to me, no stress. They’ve been amazing. They were just heaven-sent…What a blessing,” she stated.

Cina Soul’s new album ‘Did I Lie’ which was released on Friday, March 14, 2025 has 12 songs. The album features top artistes like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Mr. Drew, S3fa, O’Kenneth and others.

Cina Soul recalled that Sarkodie sent her producer, Breezy his verse of the song same day the rapper received the song sample.

She said her expectations were that Sarkodie would revert to her with his verse months later due to his busy schedule.

“I think Breezy sent it to him that morning, and he sent it back in the evening. I didn’t know because I thought King Sark, we should expect his verse like in a couple of weeks or months.”

She said for Stonebwoy, they both recorded the song during the same studio session.

“I watched him make the verse. He didn’t write anything oo and I loved it so much,” she added.

For Mr. Drew whom he described as a brother, the singer stated that same love was extended to her as he submitted his verse, same day he received the song.
