When we are talking about rap, Sarkodie is the one – Keche
He maintained that even when Nigerians are talking about rap, they mention Sarkodie so if anyone is talking about rap, Sarkodie is the one.
Ghanaian musical hip-life duo which was formed in 2004, Joshua Kojo Ampah and Andrew Kofi Cudjoe popularly known as Keche says Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo known professionally as Sarkodie has gone far with the rap.
Speaking in an interview monitored by Elvisanokyenews.com, Andrew Kofi Cudjoe (Keche Andrew) stated that Sarkodie is the greatest when it comes to rap.
He said a lot of debates have been going on about who is the best African in Ghana and beyond but Sarkodie has taken the rap to a different level.
According to him, he respected and recognized the work of Ghanaian rappers including Obrafour but Sarkodie is the best.
“Sarkodie, the greatest of all time, people were debating, let me tell you something rap, I will mention Sarkodie. I agree with them, I am not disrespecting Obrafour, I am not disrespecting any of them but the level, how far he (Sarkodie) has gone with the rap. ” He said.
He maintained that even when Nigerians are talking about rap, they mention Sarkodie so if anyone is talking about rap, Sarkodie is the one.
“Now he has gone Africa, when Nigerians are talking about rap they mention Sarkodie. He has taken BET gone far with the rap, he is gone. When we are talking about it right now till date, Sarkodie is the one.” Keche Andrew noted.
For his part, Joshua Kojo Ampah (Keche Joshua) stated that Sarkodie is not his favourite rapper but he remains the best rapper in Africa.
“I keep telling people that Sarkodie is the best rapper in Africa but he is not my favourite rapper. One of the rappers who has attracted me in Ghana who I wish he would blow once is Strongman.” He indicated.
