Why don’t we have a Delegates Photo Album for Internal Elections – NDC

Why will you drive from Accra to Kumasi for 4 hours if there is an available airplane that will take you there in 45 minutes?

I am a citizen and an NDC Zealot

I am the son of the Gong Gong Beater

What is the use of uploading pictures and data of party faithfuls electronically and not use it efficiently but rather fall back to the secretaries to collate data again?

A favorite Ethiopian Proverb states that “Your feet will take you away from home towards the promise land, but your stomach will always bring you back”

Why will you drive from Accra to Kumasi for 4 hours if there is an available airplane that will take you there in 45 minutes?

It’s only commonsensical to go by air to arrive on time. If we have the data electronic why do manual collation?

Over the years the NDC has collected data of all its members for more than 2 times in the name of registration.

The question is where is the data. We were told that the first one had non NDC members infiltrating our system due to the mode of registration. Currently another system is being run since last year, 2022 and a lot of people have paid their cards, dues and fees but still haven’t received their cards. What is keeping the cards????

Before branch elections last year, all aspirants were asked to upload their pictures and party ID numbers. This process continued for election of Constituency Executives, Regional Executives and National Executives.

Every single person paid some minimum dues during registration to contest hence monies can be tracked.

What is stopping the NDC from getting a pictorial delegate register? Who has that vested interest in getting people to vote as ghosts for others?

In this 21st Century with all the technology available, “I beg your pardon”, something must be wrong with some people in leadership. When will we get our internal elections right from Branches up to the National level clean?

Since 1992 elections the Ghanaian National Voters Identification Card has gone through various forms of improvements to try and eliminate cheating in our general elections.

What is wrong with the IT Department and Directorate of elections that delegates photo album can’t be generated and authenticated from the National Database.

Whose has any particular interest to allow constituency secretaries to collate Delegates List. Why give room for manipulation of delegates lists if all the data is already uploaded and can be printed with a click?

Why can’t we print it directly or the software for the database is an inferior one. If so let’s upgrade but if it’s the decision of individuals who are have special interest then we have a problem as a party.

Why can’t a Common Photo Album be generated from a system that we were asked to upload our details.

Why should delegates be asked to bring a photo ID to prove who they are during elections when thier pictures have been already submitted to the National Headquarters

I cry for this party because of individual interests. We need to make progress as a party so let’s do the right thing.

Approximately 38,000 branches across the country registered. A minimum of 9 delegates uploaded and paid thiers dues. In total we realized an approximate amount of about Ghc 3,420,000. Can’t this amount sanitize and print a color photo album for each constituency? I rest my case.

I wished National Executives will see some wisdom in technology this time around and go digital to avoid personal manipulation.

We saw this confusion in Regional and National elections and the reason we have cases in court. Let’s do it right once and for all

Printing a photo album for internal elections is not bigger than the NDC

Don’t let your personal interest override other people’s interest

The great party NDC will surely be the winner if people allow the structures to work.
