Nii Boi II, the Sei Tse of Gbawe Sakumonor (Mallam Junction and its environs), has observed that despite the intense condemnation and vilification of President John Dramani Mahama by his critics, God has finally vindicated him.
He pointed out that Mahama’s victory was not only overwhelming but also divine and magical, thereby silencing his detractors once and for all. Recalling his reaction to the news of Mahama’s win, he said, “When I heard of his victory, my song was ‘Aba mu Awie’ (It is accomplished), the same song I used to sing to the late President J.E.A Mills.”

According to Nii Boi II, President Mahama is a man of integrity with a good heart and noble intentions. “Yet his critics demonized, vilified, and relentlessly attacked him. However, since ‘whom God blesses, no one can curse,’ his prayers have been answered, and his critics have been put to shame,” he stressed, sobbing and wiping his tears as goosebumps covered his body.

The Stin Tse also highlighted that Mahama carries good fortune and positive omens. “Even the rains have started falling in January, a sign of blessings and abundance. This indicates that there will be sufficient food in the country to feed the people,” he noted.
He further assured that all projects and programs initiated by his predecessor, President Mills, would be successfully completed under Mahama’s leadership. Encouraging the President to remain steadfast, he urged him to forge ahead without fear or disappointment. “Just as the Lord was with his predecessor, so will He be with him (Mahama),” he concluded.
