Women Empowerment: NPP is the Leader and Championer

So much noise has been made since the appointment of Madam Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as the running mate of the Flagbearer of the NDC, former president John Dramani Mahama. In fact, this noise seems to be a forewarning to the NDC on the humpty dumpty fall they are about to take.

This incompetent lady, who is touted to have six PHDs and GOD knows how many Masters etc, has not benefited from these degrees because as Minister for Education under the disgraced government of John Mahama, schools lacked basic teaching materials and those very necessary elements of humanity. Under her tenure as Minster of Education, she superintended over the most deplorable state of educational facilities lacking chalk and other basic items. She forfeited the three year salaries of teachers against a payment of three months only, which she was expecting praises for. In other words, she aided the theft of the salaries of these poor teachers who instead of wickedness do rather deserve reverence and praise for the good services they have always rendered to the nation!

That notwithstanding, she watched over the shameful construction of a few E-Block school structures that were built a fatigable distance in the bushes; a very dumb idea if you ask me! If six PHDs and lots of Masters did not help this woman, how would she be able to help an incompetent person vying to be President of this great country again especially that his tenure in office was marred with corruption, crime, abuse, and other allegations?

It is often said that birds of the same feather flock together, and certainly that is true for the two NDC birds, John Mahama and Madam Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang; very incompetent duo! This lady actually fought against the Free SHS system that President Nana Akufo-Addo campaigned for all those years yet today even her family members wherever they are in the rural areas are benefitting from this programme, which her Boss, John Mahama, seeks to cancel in the very unlikely event he becomes President again to execute his tyranny once more!

Then there is the case of deliberate financial loss to the State by giving to Ibrahim Mahama Ghana’s Bauxite deposits, which John Mahama had sought to create a family dynasty by signing it on to him. This would grant them wealth of over 600 billion US Dollars that would help them dominate Ghana for centuries. How would she oppose this deal if she were Vice-President, may we know? It is rather unfortunate that this lady has accepted to wear such an albatross around her neck, hoping to look flashy because she is a lady!

If it is about women empowerment, no party or fraternity beats the NPP. Under President Nana Akufo-Addo, Ghana recorded her first major blessing in this regard by getting the very first-ever female substantive Chief of Staff, Hon Akosua Frema Osei-Opare. In addition, the NPP has double the number of female Parliamentarians in Ghana’s than the NDC. This is how high the NPP has raised the bar!

The NDC has always shamed and looked down upon women. How can we forget that an NDC stooge, Frankin Cudjoe, once said that the genitalia of NPP women smell? No, we can’t ever! How can we forget that the wife of their allegedly murdered Boss, late President Atta-Mills, was neglected in such a disgraceful manner? No we can’t ever! How can we ever forget how NDC women joined their chauvinist parliamentarian men to insult Hon Lydia Alhassan Eyram when she decided to wade the political waters and walk in the shoes of her late husband, Hon Emmanual Kyeremanteng Agyarko, calling her “Bloody Widow”?

We can never forget the wickedness of the NDC when they gloated at the predicament of the Agyarkos with the nauseating slogan, “Bloody Widow”! No we can’t ever!

No person, political group, or fraternity that would refer to a mourning woman as “BLOODY WIDOW” is worth any salt. The NDC party that disrespected this woman does not deserve any sympathy from anybody! Madam Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, must as a matter of urgency resign from the position of running mate to John Mahama. It is very disappointing that she would accept to take up this position, and more shocking is the posture of a so-called human rights advocate Nana Oye (Lithur) as she begins to defend the indefensible. Wait a minute, wasn’t she the one who beat on her husband and houseboy? Ah well, human rights advocate indeed!

Then again, there is the issue of appending her signature to the “legal crime” of the century when a petition was initiated to remit the sentences of three convicts who openly threatened to rape and kill female Supreme Court Judges. In the NDC, no woman is worth anything except sex and even then it is a contemptuous act of rape that the women are afraid to speak to because of the vindictive nature of the chauvinist dastards they are goaded by.

In the NPP, women are the trusted partners of men. We have many female Parliamentary candidates who will increase the number of females in the legislature when they win the seats in December 2020, in shaa ALLAH. There are more female Ministers in NPP’s Akufo-Addo government that there are women specialists in the NDC, yet we will not come to abuse and insult women, no matter which side of the divide they belong to. We may identify their callousness, incompetence, wrongdoing, etc, but we will never use such abusive and derogatory language as “BLOODY WOMAN”, or “WE WILL KILL AND RAPE THEM” or “THEY ARE SEX OBJECTS!”

NPP folks always respect and love Ghanaian women, because, verily, they are our sisters, mothers, and daughters. Whoever insults a woman insults their mother, sister, and grandmother. To this effect, NDC has abused and continue to abuse Ghanaian women, even more! #4More4Nana
