Work towards Akufo-Addo’s Second Term bid – Appointees charged

A Financier of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Asunafo North Constituency of the Ahafo Region, Farouk Nkrumah, has charged all appointees in government to emulate President Nana Akufo-Addo’s hard work and also be vigilant on duty so as to attract more supporters as the nation approaches another crucial election in 2020.

Nkrumah made the call after he presented some streetlight bulbs to communities including Manhyia, Asumura, Nyimaye and Kasapin Clinic and some medical equipment to Akrodie Health Centre and Mim Health Centre in the Asunafo North Municipality as part of activities marking his 40th birthday.

Despite losing the 2016 NPP Parliamentary Primaries in the area, Farouk acknowledged the hard work and good policies of President Nana Akufo-Addo including planting for food and jobs, free Senior High School, planting for export and rural development, one district one factory, among others which he said will boost the economy by creating more job opportunities for the youth.

“Even though most appointees are doing their best, trust me there are challenges which I expect them to be sincere to themselves by finding lasting solutions to them in their various offices. The President can’t be everywhere and that is why the MMDCEs, CEOs, the Ministers, and the Director Generals has been appointed and they must work in the interest of the president,” he emphasized.

Farouk Nkrumah appealed to Ministers, CEOs and MMDCEs to sensitize the electorates in various Constituencies to understand what their taxes are being used for so they will contribute wholeheartedly towards the development of the country.
