Yofi Grant, the CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), has been named the African Business Personality of the Year 2022 by the prestigious International Investor Magazine. In addition, the GIPC was also awarded the Best FDI Destination in Africa for the year 2022.
The International Investor Magazine acknowledged Mr Grant’s three decades of successful career and experience in investment banking and finance as he heads the Ghana Investment Promotion Agency, which operates under the Office of the President of Ghana. The award also recognized his contributions as a Director representing Sub-Saharan Africa on the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) steering board. In this capacity, Mr. Grant collaborates with WAIPA partners to address some of the continent’s and the world’s most pressing issues, particularly in the areas of investment promotion, FDI attraction, and promoting open and free trade.
The award serves as a testament to the CEO’s unwavering commitment and exceptional leadership in promoting investment and attracting foreign direct investment to Ghana.
