You Always Comment On Irrelevant Issues Why Not The Togoland Saga? Hadzide Jabs Minority

Deputy Information Minister Pius Enam Hadzide has challenged the Minority in Parliament to break their silence on the Western Togoland brouhaha.

The Deputy Minister says he does not understand why the vociferous MPs on the MNinoritty’s die have refused to comment on the issue when they are known to have ”acquired the habit of running to the press on even the most irrelevant issues, and indeed, the Volta Regional Caucus of the party are the loudest”.

He quizzed: ”So, how come, till date, the NDC Minority, led by the most vociferous Volta Caucus has remained silent on secessionist declaration of “Western Togoland”? Have they, all of a sudden, lost their testicular fortitude; or they have abandoned their principles; or they have all this while, been engaged in the politics of convenience?”

I’m sure you know that ALL the Members of Parliament from the Volta Region are on the ticket of the NDC. The NDC wins the popular votes in the Volta Region even though they are consistently declining.

It is a fact that the NDC Minority has acquired the habit of running to the press on even the most irrelevant issues, and indeed, the Volta Regional Caucus of the party are the loudest.

So, how come, till date, the NDC Minority, led by the most vociferous Volta Caucus has remained silent on secessionist declaration of “Western Togoland”? Have they, all of a sudden, lost their testicular fortitude; or they have abandoned their principles; or they have all this while, been engaged in the politics of convenience?
