Zonda Tec outdoors new Forland Light Duty Trucks in Ghana
Zonda Tec Ghana Limited, a renowned light and heavy duty equipment trading company with several years of experience in Ghana, has officially outdoored new additions to their fleet of vehicles – the Forland light duty trucks.
The products include Tipper trucks, trailer heads, semi-trailers, back hoe loaders and wheel loaders of renowned top Chinese manufacturers such as Sinotruck, Luigong, Wuling, CIMC, Zonda, among others with European technology.
At a ceremony on Wednesday held at the company’s new ultra-modern head office in Tema, in a speech read on her behalf, the Managing Director of the Company, Madam Yang Yang, said since its inception in Ghana, the company has continuously evolved in the equipment industry “and we pride ourselves as a one stop shop for all equipment needs to help build the infrastructure development in Ghana. We have done this by providing quality and competitive equipment with flexible terms of payment to our cherished client”.
“It is for this reason we are all gathered here today to outdoor our light duty equipment – precisely the Forland brand due to its qualities as durable, affordable, easy to maintain and easy on your pockets as part of our new range of equipment, she stated, adding that Zonda has always been committed to contributing its quota to the development of this Ghana by providing “the fleet to build Ghana through the sale and service of our equipment”.
An assistant to the Managing Director, Marian Tamakloe told ghananewsonline.com.gh in an interview that Zonda Tec Ghana does not only pride itself in the area of sales but also provide quality and affordable spare parts and a team of well trained and professional engineers and technicians who are always available and willing to attend to the servicing needs of customers.
“We have employed a lot of Ghanaians and also offered enough training for drivers brought in by our customers. We have assisted in providing employment for a lot of people mostly from the communities that we operate. We have special emphasis on training to enhance skills development,” she stated.
In a later interview on the sidelines of the event, Madam Yang Yang told journalists that
“We have sufficient spare parts, we have enough branches Tema, Takoradi, Kumasi to serve our customers. The quality of our products is very good. Forland is a great product that has been on the number one position in China for a long time because of the quality. We are here also in Ghana to give the best of service to our customers. We want the Ghanaian public to change their thinking about Chinese products. Because Chinese products are very good. This is the best product for the Ghana market”.
She asked for public support in promoting their brands across Ghana and the West African sub region.
“If you are purchasing a new product, look at the quality, look at the service to customers and look at the after sales service. Do they have enough spare parts or not. At Zonda we have everything. We have invested heavily in our light duty trucks which are also going to be assembled in Ghana. That is why we are urging all Ghanaians to patronize our goods because it is part of the made in Ghana goods,” Madam Yang emphasized.
A representative of the Paramount Chief of Kpone Traditional Area, Nii Tetteh Otu II, expressed satisfaction at the companies operations in his area. He urged people to do business with the company so they can employ more youth from his jurisdiction.
Zonda Tec Ghana Limited started operating in Ghana in the year 2013 with its head office situated on the Aflao road near Tema. The new factory is part of the “one district, one factory” policy being championed by the current government of Ghana as part of its industrialization drive to boost domestic trade and to create employment opportunities for the citizens.
The company’s product range include oil and water tankers, tipper trucks of all types and sizes, LPG tankers, semi-trailers, concrete mixers, flat beds, pay loaders, road rollers, backhoe loaders, among others.
