Seintse of Gbawe Sakumono salutes IGP

According to the Chief, all efforts to trace the car since it got missing proved futile, as officers at that station and Odorkor Division all kept dead silent over the missing car.

The Seintse of Gbawe Sakumona (Mallam Junction and its environs), Nii Boye I, has praised the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo-Dampare, for what he termed as the “IGP’s magic” that enabled him to find his lost pick-up vehicle.

Rendering his appreciation to the IGP, Nii Boye stated that his vehicle, Chinese-make Dongfeng with registration number, GS 914-10 got mysteriously missing from the Mallam Lafa Police Station in the Greater Accra Region on June 4, 2021, where it had been in police custody since September 14, 2020, where it was undergoing investigations.

According to the Chief, all efforts to trace the car since it got missing proved futile, as officers at that station and Odorkor Division all kept dead silent over the missing car.

However, when Dr. Dampare assumed office, and he petitioned him, the IGP did the magic and had his car retrieved for him via DSP William Attor of Police Regional Internal Audit.

While rendering his heartfelt thanks to the IGP and DSP Attor for enabling him get back his lost car, he prayed for God’s guidance to the IGP in particular and his men. Nii Boye maintained that if all officials in government played their role with zeal and professionalism as displayed by Dr. Dampare, Ghana would be a new place for all Ghanaians.

“I wish you long life, prosperity, vision and all your heart’s desire for 2022 and beyond! Thank you sir, IG!” he yelled, beaming with smile.
