Democratic Transformers Forum urges the youth in Ghana to rally support for Mahama and the NDC
the Democratic Transformers Forum wishes all Ghanaians a New Year filled with hope, prosperity, and positive transformation
The Democratic Transformers Forum (DTF), a group of young achievers affiliated to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on Ghanaians, especially the youth, to rally around the visionary leadership of John Mahama and the NDC as they take steps to build the Ghana “we all wish for upon his election into office come December, 2024.”
In a statement signed by the group’s Convenor, Ebenezer Potakey, and released in Accra on Monday, January 1, 2024, the DTF emphasized the importance of the 24-hour Economy policy being proposed by the party’s flagbearer for the 2024 elections.
“We believe this initiative will bring significant relief to the youth and contribute to the overall development of our nation through the service delivery and production sectors,” the statement noted.
Ahead of this year’s crucial elections in December, the group further urged the leadership of the NDC to remain resolute and steadfast because millions of Ghanaian youth are looking up to the party as a beacon of hope. They are therefore imploring the leadership of the party not to disappoint the expectations of the young people.

NEW YEAR BEST WISHES AND SEASON’S GREETINGS:
As we stand on the threshold of a new year, the Democratic Transformers Forum extends its heartfelt wishes and season’s greetings to all Ghanaians for a prosperous and joyous 2024.
The year 2023 has posed its share of challenges for our nation. We acknowledge the hardships faced by many, and we stand in solidarity with those who have endured difficulties throughout the year.
We also remember, particularly, retirees who have to suffer “haircuts” and endure through the obnoxious Domestic Debt Exchange Program (DDEP); businesses that have to succumb to and endure the continues depreciation of the cedi against major trading currencies that caused unstable pricing of goods and services; graduate youth who continue to battle high rate unemployment canker; and the general public who are bombarded with high taxes, among other neck breaking economic hardships amidst the breakdown of law and order under the current regime.
In the spirit of unity and resilience, the Democratic Transformers Forum calls on all Ghanaians, especially the youth, to rally around the visionary leadership of HE JOHN MAHAMA and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as he and the party take steps to BUILD THE GHANA we all wish for upon his election into office come December, 2024.
We also want to reiterate on the 24-HOUR ECONOMY policy proposed by HE JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA. We believe this initiative will bring significant relief to the youth and contribute to the overall development of our nation through the service delivery and production sectors.
Finally, as we enter the crucial election year, we urge the leadership of the NDC to remain resolute and steadfast. Millions of Ghanaian youth look up to the party as a beacon of hope, and we implore the leadership not to disappoint their expectations. Let us collectively work towards a future that prioritizes the aspirations of the youth.
In closing, the Democratic Transformers Forum wishes all Ghanaians a New Year filled with hope, prosperity, and positive transformation. May the coming year bring forth opportunities for growth and unity, paving the way for a brighter future for our beloved nation.
THANK YOU
END
