Accra Hearts of Oak dissolves Board

The Phobians in the 2023/2024 season have had a poor run, and currently sit 9th on the league table with just 24 points after 18 games.

Ghana Premier League giants, Accra Hearts of Oak, has announced that its eleven member board has officially been dissolved.

The decision was announced by the club on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

However, the reason for the dissolution of the board was not communicated, as the club intends to provide details of the decision on Wednesday.

The board members include Togbe Afede XIV, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamaloe, Prof. Kofi Kumado, Ivy Heyward-Mills, Alhaji Alhassan Andani, Frank Nelson, Thomas Kwesi Esso, Eric Barimah-Atuahene, Alhaji Imoro Briamah, Vincent Sowah Odotei, and Frederick Moore.

The Phobians in the 2023/2024 season have had a poor run, and currently sit 9th on the league table with just 24 points after 18 games.

However, it’s unclear if the team’s subpar performance played a significant role in the decision made.

The club will in the coming month hold their Annual General Meeting.
