Agricultural Students from Ghana leave for Israel for a One Year Practical Training experience

The project is geared at equipping the students with the professional experience, knowledge and skills to enable them to develop and promote the agricultural sector of Ghana.

On October 2, 2021, 42 out of 100 Agricultural students left Ghana to Israel for a one year practical training experience.

The Ambassador-Designate, H. E. Shlomit Sufa and the Deputy Chief of Mission, Ms. Shani Rapaport Etsiony were at the airport to bid them farewell.

The project is geared at equipping the students with the professional experience, knowledge and skills to enable them to develop and promote the agricultural sector of Ghana.

The Project coordinators were of so much gratitude to their partners – MASHAV, Agrostudies and The Ministry Of Food And Agriculture Ghana, especially to Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto – the Minister for Food and Agriculture, for their commitment and dedication toward the success and sustenance of the Programme.

Agrostudies is an international training center which provides a program for agricultural education in Israel to interns from developing countries around the world.

The program, which was built with the support and oversight from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Agriculture, focuses on capacity building through practical and professional knowledge transfer in the field of agriculture, and promotes food security around the world by providing the participants with a creative, practical and dynamic educational framework.
