Akufo-Addo meets Ukraine’s Zelenskyy to deepen cooperation
The two leaders emphasised the potential for creating logistics hubs for the transhipment of Ukrainian agricultural products to African countries.
On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine met with Ghanaian leader Nana Akufo-Addo.
The Head of State thanked Ghana for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, particularly at the level of decisions of international organisations.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on Ghana to join the implementation of the points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
The two leaders emphasised the potential for creating logistics hubs for the transhipment of Ukrainian agricultural products to African countries.
Zelenskyy also discussed the issue of education of students from Ghana in Ukrainian higher education institutions.
The leaders discussed ways to deepen relations between Ukraine and Ghana, as well as with other African countries.
