Alan has no plans to join NDC – Spokesperson

A spokesperson for the Movement for Change has urged the general public to disregard propaganda that seeks to create a false narrative about its leader, Alan Kyerematen joining forces with the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In a statement released on Friday, February 16, 2024, the spokesperson said “The message of the Movement remains, that the existing political duopoly of the NPP and the NDC in no way represents the interest of the country. The NPP and the NDC in their current form continue to undermine the progress of the country and are no longer representatives of the ideals of progress and prosperity that define the Ghanaian people”.

The statement further explained that Alan Kyerematen and the Movement remain focused and continue to work towards a Government of national unity by engaging every single Ghanaian on a new path of transformation.

Alan Kyerematen since his break away from the New Patriotic Party has been championing the need to run a non-partisan government which according to him is what Ghana needs at the moment.

In his series of engagements with Ghanaians, the former trade minister has urged Ghanaians to give him the nod to lead the country adding that his Great Transformational Plan (GTP) will help revive the struggling economy and create jobs for the youth.
