The most controversial candidate is Zelia Asmat Osman an aide to the second lady, H.E. Samira Bawumiah. Zee as she is affectionately called is running a well oiled campaign, believed to be bankrolled from the Vice President’s office. Though perceived to be the weakest candidate during vetting, how she eventually topped the vetting against more organized candidates like Saki Sosi and Odupong Atta-Agyapong has created a lot of furore on Ghana School of Law campus. She doesn’t hide the fact that she is Pro-NPP and this makes students wonder if she can truly advocate for them.

One of such students is another candidate, Tony Baah. Tony though NPP is believed to emanate from the Allan Kyerematen camp of the NPP. Unlike Zelia, he is running a rather moderate campaign.
