2024 AAFCON: Black Challenge beat Kenya 2-1 to qualify to the knockout stage

The Black Challenge is set to face Tanzania in their next knockout game on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

Ghana qualified to the knockout stage of the ongoing 2024 African Amputee Football Championship (AAFCON) in Egypt after a 2-1 hard win over Kenya.

Darling player Hamza Mohammed, and Brown Williams, found the net for the Black Challenge. Kenya was able to a get a consolation goal.

Hamza Mohammed was named MVP of the match for his pivotal role in the team’s success.

Ghana’s Black Challenge who are being handled by young Coach Steve Obeng, has scored 11 goals and allowed in only one goal in the tournament.

The Black Challenge is set to face Tanzania in their next knockout game on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

Coach Obeng said he has full confidence in his players and knows they will reach the final and win the cup.

In the last group matches, Nigeria beat Burundi 11-0, Morocco beat Liberia 5-0, Angola beat Tanzania 2-1, while Algeria beat Gambia 3-2

Meanwhile the President of the National Paralympic Committee, Samson Deen, has congratulated the team for their performance and advised them to be focused and go for the ultimate.
