7-Point Vision to Drive Development and Transformation in Ablekuma West – Hon. Kweku Addo

During his address at the event, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma West, Hon. Rev. Kweku Addo, emphasized the need for reflection, assessment, and strategic planning to build a prosperous and inclusive constituency.

Ghana’s Independence Day is a national holiday celebrated annually to honor and recognize the heroes who led the country to attain independence. This day serves as an official state holiday for all Ghanaians, both within the country and in the diaspora.

The Ablekuma West Constituency marked the 68th Independence Day with a commemoration event involving all schools in the constituency under the theme “Reflect, Review, and Reset.” The theme called on citizens to look back at the constituency’s history of twelve years of neglect, assess the present circumstances, and commit to reshaping and uniting for a brighter future.

The Ablekuma West Education Directorate was officially established on August 24, 2019, and currently oversees 14 public kindergarten schools, 14 public primary schools, 14 public junior high schools, two public senior high schools, one TVET institution, and 157 private schools.

During his address at the event, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma West, Hon. Rev. Kweku Addo, emphasized the need for reflection, assessment, and strategic planning to build a prosperous and inclusive constituency.

“As we commemorate this historic day, we must reflect on the sacrifices made by our forebears, review our progress as a people, and reset our strategies to ensure a prosperous and inclusive Ghana. As your MP, I am fully committed to translating this theme into practical development initiatives for our community,” he stated.

Hon. Addo further announced the launch of the first initiative under his 7-Point Vision – The MP’s Forum. This forum, scheduled for Friday, March 7, will serve as a platform for open and constructive engagement between the MP, local authorities, and constituents. He explained that the forum would provide an opportunity for accountability, feedback, and collaborative decision-making.
