Member of Parliament (MP) for the North Tongu constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has underscored the significant achievements of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Volta Region, citing improvements in road infrastructure, educational institutions, and hospital projects within the Ketu area and the region.
During the NDC’s recent Reset Walk in Ketu South that ended at Victoria Park Aflao, Ablakwa encouraged constituents to back John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming 2024 elections and to also vote for the NDC parliamentary candidate Abla Dzifa Gomashie
He emphasized that supporting and retaining Mama Dzramedo as the incumbent MP is affectionally called would help avoid a hung parliament and give the NDC Flagbearer John Mahama a rock to effectively implement his policies when he is elected President.
“We know by the grace of God former President John Dramani Mahama will win the December polls and continue the good works he started between 2016 and January 6, 2017, and in doing that good work he will need a majority in parliament. We don’t want any hung parliament. We want a workable, comfortable majority in parliament,” he stated.
Ablakwa also advised the party members in Ketu South not to pay heed to the deceit of NPP.
