ABOFAB Sales Officer, Mr. Baah Adams, in an interview with the media, said “our stakeholder meeting is a critical part of our annual planning process, it allows us to transparently share our vision and priorities, while also listening closely to the insights and concerns of those we serve through our organic farming projects”

“We plan to do a lot of nurseries since we intend to plant a lot of cashew, timbers, and mangoes, so we will do the nursery and give it to our farmers.

“We will conduct a program that will train farmers on how to use organic techniques in farming and we will also urge them to share the knowledge with other farmers, this program will last for 12 weeks. We have other livelihood alternatives such as beekeeping of which we will provide them with startup kits in beekeeping.” He told our reporter.

Mr. Baah Adams, further disclosed that ABOFAB will continue to serve the people of Techiman with their training and programs for the development of agriculture in Techiman, Bono East region and the country at large.

“Inorganic farming is good but it has a long term effect on our lands so I will urge the farmers to make good use of today’s meeting, go into organic farming and approach us whenever the need arises because we are there for them.” Mr. Stephen Aidoo disclosed
