For eight years I have resisted the temptation of posting pictures of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo sleeping in public, even though I was convinced that for eight years the man went into a self-inflicted comatose, just to allow his family and friends to get rich while destroying the economy.
But I am doing it now because this man has no shame and has no iota of respect for the people of Ghana.
After SLEEPING ON THE JOB and allowing your family and friends led by Ken Ofori-Atta to run down the economy into a junk status and deplete the life savings of Ghanaians with a crude a fatal haircuts, which he (the president) even lied about, he had the effrontery to tell us at the inauguration of Transitional Team that THE ECONOMY IS BACK TO PRE-COVID GROWTH LEVELS, and his source is the Finance Minister, as if the finance minister is some independent, non-biased credible source of economic data.
This is very annoying indeed. You and your family have become extremely rich not by dint of hard and noble work, but by running the economy down and cutting deals for yourselves. You involved your daughters, brother, cousins, uncles, auntie, in-laws and all in this ignoble enterprise of STATE CAPTURE, underpinned by extreme greed.
Now Ghanaians have showed you in the most emphatic way how much you failed them, and instead of having the serenity honesty of an old man to admit to your SPECTACULAR FAILURE and save what is left of your integrity, if any, you are here telling us the economy you run down to the point where your economic messiah, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia steered clear of comments about the economy for six years, is back on track because finance minister said so. No shame, no respect.
Even your own MPs, former MPs and party financiers are now admitting that you run the economy down. When would you be honest with yourself that you failed. Are you going to keep lying to yourself till death? How dare you lie about something so obvious – and ka na yen tie-a Finance Minister said the economy is back to pre-Covid levels. You are not even ashamed to mention the word covid, of which you have not accounted for millions of dollars of donations.
Let me stop here before I say something else I will regret later.
