FIFA officially unveiled Black Stars’ squad numbers ahead of the 2022 World Cup. Otto Addo, Ghana’s head coach, announced his final 26-member squad for the upcoming tournament on November 14 in a press conference.

Captain Ayew Dons the Iconic Number 10
The Black Stars’ captain Andre Ayew will wear his usual number 10 jersey. On the other hand, his younger brother Jordan Ayew will take up the number 9 shirt. Ghanaian soccer fans will be hoping that the two brothers will help the team perform well in the upcoming tournament.

Group Matches
The Black Stars are in Group H with Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea. These are tough opponents on paper, but Ghana have the ammunition in their squad to upset the odds.
They will kick off the tournament against Portugal on November 24, followed by a match against South Korea on November 28. They will then face off with Uruguay on December 2.
