The chiefs and people of the Agotime Traditional Area, under the auspices of the Konor, Nene Nuer Keteku IV, are excited to announce the completion of preparations for the 2024 Agotime Kente Festival (Agbamevor Za). This vibrant and culturally rich event, celebrated annually, is set to take place from August 4th to 11th, 2024, under the theme: “Repositioning the Kente Heritage for Inclusive Development.”
The Grand Durbar, the highlight of the celebration, is scheduled for Saturday, August 10th, 2024, starting at 9 am at the GRA Park, Agotime Kpetoe.
This year’s festival will be graced by the presence of government representatives, ministers, members of parliament, distinguished chiefs and queen mothers, members of the diplomatic corps, captains of industry, and tourists from around the world. The event promises a diverse range of activities, including:
