Ama Benyiwa Doe to be buried on Dec. 18

Madam Benyiwaa Doe died on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Tema at age 73 after a protracted illness.

The family of the late former Central Regional Minister, Ama Benyiwa Doe, has announced that her funeral will be held on 18th December 2021.

George Blankson, the head of the family, adds that the departed stateswoman will be buried at Gomoa Abura in the Central Region

“The funeral has been scheduled for the 18th of December 2021 and the venue will be Gomoa Abura.”

Madam Benyiwaa Doe died on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Tema at age 73 after a protracted illness.

She was also a former member of the Council of State and a former National Women’s Organizer for the NDC.

On Saturday, the family observed a one-week solemnity after her passing at her home in Accra, with dignitaries, including the 2020 Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang and Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey, attending.
