Any day i see Gays in my Community i will beat them up – Apesemakahene of Akuapim

The Mampong Akwapim Apesemakahene, Nana Yirenkyi I, has called on the National Security operatives to investigate and locate the newly commissioned office complex of the gay and lesbian community in Ghana.

He urged them to ensure that the offices are closed and those practicing such abominable acts brought to book.

In an interview with ghananewsonline.com.gh, Nana Yirenkyi I, averred that Ghana as a country must not entertain homosexuality or same sex marriage since it is evil and against all the societal norms of the Ghanaian community.

He also dared the gay community to come to Akwiapim and establish their office; whilst calling on pastors, imams, politicians, chiefs and opinion leaders in the society to speak against the act which he described as “devilish”.

“Any day I see them in Akwapim, I will organize our people to beat them up,” he said.

Nana Yirenkyi I also called on Ghanaians to speak loudly against the act of same sex marriage that is subtly being popularized in the country.
