Bayern Munich are reportedly willing to sell Senegal international Sadio Mane this summer, just a year after signing him from Liverpool.
Mane has struggled to meet expectations at the Allianz Arena, recording just seven goals and four assists in 22 Bundesliga outings.
Off the field, he has also faced disciplinary issues, including a physical altercation with teammate Leroy Sane resulting in a suspension and fine.
New Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly not been impressed with Mane and has made it clear to those in charge that he is prepared to offload the 31-year-old to fund a move for a new central striker, with Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani on their radar.
While Mane’s age means Bayern are unlikely to demand a significant fee, his wage demands will limit the number of teams able to make a deal.
Mane has an impressive Premier League record, with 111 goals and 47 assists across 263 games for Liverpool and Southampton, which may attract interest from English clubs. Bayern is also said to view Paris Saint-Germain as a viable suitor.
In addition to Mane’s potential departure, Bayern is reportedly interested in Chelsea’s Kai Havertz as a replacement for Thomas Muller.
