BIG JOKE: La Trade Fair & La Hotels Sale Dejavouz…

SSNIT's response on the sale of La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Labadi Beach Hotel to Agriculture Minister Brian Acheampong is comical...

FACT:

The La Trade Fair Redevelopment Project Land adjoining the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel and Labadi Beach Hotel also went through an international competitive tender supervised by PriceWaterHouseCoopers as Transactions Advisors which was published in the same Economist Newspaper as SSNIT claims was the process it went through in selling the Hotels to Brian Acheampong…

FACT:

The La Tradefair Redevelopment Project competitive tender was won in 2015 by a wholly Ghanaian owned company – REROY just like ROCKCITY;

The Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government despite the International Competitive Tender set aside the Government of Ghana Agreement signed with REROY and went to Dubai to sign a new Sole Sourced Agreement with the Stellar Holding Pte Ltd of Singapore for 65acres out of the 140acre of Trade Fair Redevelopment Project Land.

The Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government decided to ignore the warnings from President Akufo-Addo’s private law firm Akufo-Addo Prempeh and Co that the handling of the Trade Fair Redevelopment Project was likely to attract a huge Judgement Debt resulting from their handling of the actions of the Trade Fair Company and the Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.

The La Trade Fair land which lease had expired without payment of due compensation;

Signed Board Minutes of the Trade Fair Company confirmed that the CEO unilaterally extended the expired lease by 99years and fraudulently altered the Executive Instrument used for the Trade Fair Land Acquisition after removing the protection clauses…

The Board Minutes further confirmed that the CEO attempted together with the sole sourced Architect David Adjaye to sell 50 acres of the Trade Fair Redevelopment Project Land to COCOBOD through the CEO without knowing what to do with the Land…

FACT:

After the Stellar Holding Pte Ltd Agreement fizzled out, the Trade Fair Redevelopment Project Land has now been walled to the street, structures demolished and the land allocated to private developers…

Sale of the La Pleasure Beach Hotel and Labadi Beach Hotel like the La Trade Fair Redevelopment Project Land is an exercise in futility…

Parliament will have to look into the wanton disposal of State Assets including Lands and Bungalows.

La Stool Lands are not for FREE…

President Akufo-Addo must be compelled to publish the status of all State Acquired Lands and Bungalows…

President Akufo-Addo must begin to take steps to retrieve all State Acquired Lands and Bungalows including the Trade Fair Redevelopment Project Land and the prime Cantonments State Land that Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo paid GHc7000 for…

A PETITION IS BEFORE PARLIAMENT AND CHRAJ IN RESPECT OF THE TRADEFAIR AND HOTELS RESPECTIVELY.

What is clear is that Brian Acheampong’s ROCKCITY will not get to own the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel and Labadi Beach Hotel despite the so-called International Competitive Tender, appointment of a Transaction Advisor or the signing of any Agreement with the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government…

The State Sponsored Stealing of State Lands and the Massive Land Grabbing currently underway in the prime areas of Accra particularly Airport, Cantonments and Labone will not benefit the Land Looters; as they will eventually be dispossessed of the looted lands.

Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators…

STAY TUNED
