“The 2024 election is like traveling from one city to another by road, and the success of such a journey hinge on three critical factors: the road, the driver, and the vehicle,” National Treasure for the New Patriotic Party has asserted.
“Fortunately for us, the road is motorable, and we have a fantastic driver in the person of H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, our Flagbearer, who has all the requisite experience for the journey.”
“What we all need to do is help build a stronger Party by paying our membership dues and campaigning vigorously for Dr. Bawumia to win,” said Dr. Charles Dwamena popularly known as Dr. ‘China.’
He made these remarks during a meeting with the Constituency Officers and Electoral Area Coordinators over the weekend, emphasizing the need to build a stronger Party as an essential vehicle for victory.
Dr. ‘China’ stressed the importance of paying membership dues, stating that by doing so, members are recognized and entitled to the benefits of the Party. He added that this practice enhances the self-esteem of the Party and its members.
The National Treasurer visited Manhyia South, Atwima Nwabiagya, Oforikrom, and Subin constituencies, all in the Ashanti Region, bringing the total number of constituencies he has visited to 79 as part of his ongoing tour.
At each stop, Dr. ‘China’ walked the executives through the dues-paying process and urged them to educate the Polling Station Executives, encouraging other Party supporters to pay their dues.
He also took the opportunity to congratulate the executives for their hard work on the ground, ensuring that the Party breaks the ‘8’.
He assured them that if the Party retains power, their hard work will be rewarded.
The constituency executives expressed their commitment to working hard to promote the Party’s message, highlighting the achievements of the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government in the lead-up to the 2024 elections.
They also expressed gratitude to Dr. ‘China’ for his dedication and hands-on approach, thanking him for coming to explain the dues-paying system, which they acknowledged is essential for any political party.
They vowed to continue campaigning for Dr. Bawumia to secure victory in the 2024 general elections.
