Today has been about the CEO of the National Service Authority.
I have read his latest literature on the subject and formed an opinion, but in the spirit of party fidelity, I have chosen to withhold that opinion from the public square.
However, a more pressing matter lies before us: What is the party’s game plan in government regarding the National TEIN Coordinators and TEIN itself?
No political party can survive—let alone thrive—without winning the battle at the point where young, aspirational minds decide their political allegiance. If we truly want to inspire political activism and nurture a culture of volunteerism within the NDC, we must equip TEIN with our strongest argument: the power of example !
I am deeply concerned with how we harness this new wave of TEIN momentum to completely dismantle the NPP’s within the youth demography.
That is why I firmly suggest that TEIN Coordinators—especially at the national and regional levels—be given substantive roles in government. This is how we demonstrate that merit matters in the NDC. We intend hold the TEIN officers assigned roles in government to keep the party’s solidarity growing without quenching on all the Tertiary Campuses. This is how you get the TEIN Cordinators to look for opportunities for TEIN executives who worked hard and continue to work hard for our beloved NDC
Most of these TEIN executives and former TEIN executives have no political networks. They know only the party they worked hard for and their TEIN Coordinators. We must be deliberate to use the machinery that put them to work to find opportunities for them. Just a little help their way can and would change their lives forever.
We cannot, in good faith, send the wrong message to tertiary students—that the PhD candidates, PhD holders, highly educated individuals, and seasoned professionals who led TEIN’s revival on our campuses, carried our arguments into lecture halls, and made the Green Campus Caravans a success, are somehow irrelevant or undeserving.
I am a perpetual strategist.
While the government continues to work tirelessly to deliver on the RESET agenda, the party must simultaneously engage its political machinery in preparation for the 2028 elections. Political parties are built on long-term vision and layered planning. The NDC 2025 Government’s biggest Gift to the NDC will be about winning the 2028 elections fair and square.
The year 2028 will be critical in cementing the NDC’s long-term voter demographic goals with students, many of whom will soon become the backbone of the professional working class.
If we consistently maintain the loyalty of the youth through TEIN, we can beat the NPP any day.
To all members of TEIN: stay true to the NDC. Have faith !
The party—through the government—must also take a serious and deliberate interest in recognizing and rewarding our National and Regional TEIN Coordinators.
It is time to send a clear message to the TEINS: hard work, loyalty, and merit will always matter in the NDC.
To a more resilient TEIN !!
