The preliminary-stage fixture in the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League has been released by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and will see Ghana’s Kumasi Asante Kotoko taking their first round of match away against a Mauritanian giant, Nouhdibou.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko will pay a visit to the Mauritanian Premier League Champions between 27th and 29th November 2020 before the concluding fixture in Ghana in December 4, 2020, a statement from the club’s portal says.
Asante Kotoko, in their last season CAF Champions League campaign, failed to qualify to the group stages after suffering a 3-0 away defeat to Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia in the second round of the preliminary stage.
Meanwhile, Ghana’s Ashanti Gold would take on Burkina Faso’s Salitas FC in the first leg at home in the first round of the preliminary stage.
