The official draw for the Group Stages of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup will be conducted on Friday, 06 October 2023 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Following an intense preliminary round that kicked off in August, 16 Clubs for both competitions have now secured their respective places in the group stages.
Both champions of the two competitions, Al Ahly SC (CAFCL) and USM Alger (CAFCC) will feature in the draw along with other household names of African football who will be looking at achieving continental glory this season.
Some of exciting names in the Champions League include Mauritania’s FC Nouadhibou who surprised Real Bamako while Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana eliminated 1995 champions Orlando Pirates.
Ghana will be largely represented as both Medeama SC and Dreams FC will be knowing their opponents come Friday.
