A thrilling investigative report has unveiled a complex web of deceit and misappropriation involving Angela List, Vice President of the Ghana Chamber of Mines and her mother, Agnes Carboo, known as Agnes Abodakpi.
The explosive findings reveal that List, a prominent figure in Ghana’s business circles, has been using her mother as a proxy to shield millions in misappropriated assets.
Agnes Carboo, the wife of notable Ghanaian politician Dan Abodakpi, is at the heart of this controversy. Our investigation reveals she holds directorial positions in at least six companies, acting as a front for her daughter’s dubious dealings.
These companies include Donante Al Holdings, Notre Dame Holdings, Notre Dame Investments GH Limited, Morsus SA Ghana Limited, and Lou Moon Resort.

A Family Affair of Political and Financial Intrigue, Dan Abodakpi, born on February 27, 1950, is no stranger to controversy himself.
A former Member of Parliament for Keta Constituency and Minister of Trade and Industry, he also served as Ghana’s High Commissioner to Malaysia.
His political journey, however, has been marred by a conviction in 2007 for causing financial loss of USD 400,000 to the state.
Despite a presidential pardon in 2008, the shadow of financial misconduct continues to loom over him and his family.
Agnes Abodakpi, who’s health condition is allegedly deplorable is expected to sign corporate company document.
Sources close to the family suggest that despite her health condition, Agnes benefits financially while her husband’s political influence provides a protective shield.
Web of Companies and Questionable Transactions Among the companies at the center of this scandal is Donante Al Holdings, a limited liability company owned by Agnes Abodakpi and registered in St. Kitts & Nevis. Angela List, holding a passport from St. Kitts & Nevis, seems to have orchestrated this arrangement to facilitate the flow of misappropriated funds.
Notable among these transactions are three payments totalling EUR 1,425,000 from BCM International Limited’s account to Paul Ramlot, former owner of Lou Moon Resort.

Confidential sources and court records suggest that Angela List used company funds to purchase the resort without her ex-husband’s, Paul List, knowledge.
Lou Moon Resort now lists Agnes Abodakpi and lawyer Sarpong Odame as directors, raising questions about the true ownership and purpose of these transactions.
Further scrutiny reveals that List authorized payments amounting to USD 2,200,000 from BCM’s bank account to Hartley Trust, transactions that were neither beneficial to BCM nor authorized.

This pattern of embezzlement led to List’s removal as Finance Manager on October 3, 2020, by which time she had allegedly siphoned off at least USD 7 million from the BCM group.
The tangled web of financial misconduct extends to other ventures as well. Notre Dame Investments GH Limited and Morsus SA Ghana Limited, both owned by Donante Al Holdings, are implicated in activities including mineral exploration.
