The Central Regional Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Chief Mike Dery, has taken John Mahama’s proposed 24hr economy policy to the door steps of constituents within the Agona West constituency in the Central Region.
Speaking at the launch of the “Beautiful Ladies Association” – a youth group dedicated to empowering young girls through skill development, he said the 24hr economy policy is the surest way to curb the increasing unemployment rate among the teeming youth in the country.
He added that, the 24hr economy would extend productivity from daytime tonight and provide opportunities for our jobless youth, business owners and consumers to work.
He underscored the significance of the 24-hour economy, highlighting its potential to create more job opportunities for the youth and to boost the local economy, affirming that the 24hr economy was a transformational policy which must supported by all.
Chief Dery assured the association of his unwavering support and commitment to their growth looking at the suffering and Economic hardship imposed on the masses by the inept New Patriotic Party (NPP)
He praised their efforts in equipping young girls with valuable skills, positioning them for better employment opportunities.
“The 24-hour economy will not only provide more job opportunities but will also ensure that our youth can thrive in various fields at any time of the day,” he stated.
Chief Dery urged the electorates to vote massively for H.E. John Dramani Mahama and Mrs. Ernestina Ofori Dangbey the Parliamentary Candidate in the Constituency. He charged NDC members and youth groups of the party to be advocates of the 24hr economy.
He explained that the policy is an economic model, which promises significant benefits for the community.
“With your support, we can achieve a vibrant economy that works round the clock, ensuring that everyone, especially the youth, can have a better future,” he added.
As the grassroots mobilizer of the region, Chief Mike Dery has been instrumental in driving initiatives that benefit the region. His good yielding efforts in advocating for policies that promote economic growth and development has earned him widespread administration. His active engagement with various groups, especially the youth, demonstrates his commitment to ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to succeed.
He also reiterated the need for continued hard work and collective effort to achieve the needed victory for the NDC in the upcoming Elections.
