Congratulations to the peace loving citizens of Bawku and its environs

I respectfully invite you to join me to congratulate the peace loving citizens of Bawku and its environs for a successful, orderly, and peaceful election and results collation exercise in the Bawku Central Constituency on 7th and 8th December 2024.

Throughout the voting and results collation exercise, the citizens of Bawku and its environs proved to the world that PEACE IS ACHIEVABLE!

As at the time of writing, provisional collated Bawku Central presidential election results awaiting a declaration by the Electoral Commission were as follows:

(4). Kofi Apaloo (LPG) – 17
(5). Mohammed Frimpong (NDP) – 7
(6). Nana Akosua Frimpomaa (CPP) – 58
(7). John Dramani Mahama (NDC) – 26,993
(8). Hassan Ayariga (APC) – 213
(9). Kofi Koranteng (Independent) – 6
(10). George Twum-Barima-Adu (independent) – 12
(11). Nana Kwame Bediako (Independent) – 10
(12). Alan Kyerematen (Independent) – 39

TOTAL SPOILT BALLOTS – 473

TOTAL VOTES CAST – 41,276

Going forward, the citizens expect and require a renewed commitment of stakeholders to reset to dialogue, engagement, traditional diplomacy to ensure maintenance of sustainable security, safety, order, peace, progress, and prosperity in Bawku and its environs.
