Pastors can finally offer thanksgiving prayers to the almighty as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to announce an easing of some restrictions on social gathering later tonight.
ABC News is gathering hints that suggest President Akufo-Addo will for the first time in four months allow some limited services in churches and mosques for short periods.
Our sources suggest the sessions will be allowed for about 50 to 100 people present while observing social distancing and other protocols.
The announcement will also see some activity resume in schools while it remains unclear if other social restrictions such as funerals will be also allowed.
The move is sure to come as a relief to several Preachers who have been advocating for the lifting of restrictions on social gatherings in the past few weeks.
President Akufo-Addo has been engaging with religious leaders for weeks seeking to strike a fair balance between protecting the population and allowing some normalcy.
