Member of Parliament for Ho West Constituency in the Volta Region, Hon Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah has said that the fight against spread of COVID-19 must be seen as a shared responsibility. According to the MP, this fight must aslo be focused on lorry parks and other public places across the country.
A set of Public Address system that was presented to the Kpedze GPRTU drivers Union for purposes of education, saw the Member of Parliament
revealing that, “This is being done to aid public education in and around the Kpedze lorry station on the Covid – 19 pandemic” he told us in a telephone interview.
Presenting the items that also include a set of veronica bucket with stand, a waste bin, waste water bowl, hand Washing soaps and sanitizers, Zonal representative of the National Democratic Congress in Kpedze, Agadzi Christian expressed the willingness of his party in support of the fight.
According to him, ” MP has presented items to various areas in the constituency but has made it clear that, his focus as well shall be on the lorry parks….and so on behalf of Hon Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah and the NDC, am asking that you take very good care of items” he told the beneficiaries.
Chairman for the Ghana Private Transport Union of TUC in Kpedze, Theophilus Gbesemete expressed appreciation and assured of the fact that, all the items shall be put into a good use.
