Dear Respected Christians and Muslims

In the spirit of solidarity and brotherhood, may we move forward with renewed faith, conviction and determination to build a transformed Sierra Leone where passion, tolerance, respect, and empathy for each other prevail.

The Leader of Sierra Leone’s opposition party All Peoples’ Congress Party (APC) Dr Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara has called on Muslims and Christians to carry forward the virtues of love, peace, and unity that they embody.

“As we reflect on the significance of these holy events and the lessons they impart, let us carry forward the virtues of love, peace, and unity that they embody.” The Economist said in a statement

“Let us continue to cherish the diversity that enriches our communities and strengthen the bonds of mutual respect and understanding among us. Our differences must not be hindrance to our shared prosperity and coexistence.” He added.

According to him, “Lent and Easter are an important part of the Christian calendar and so is the Ramadan in the Muslim calendar. Both are religious seasons of self-examination, penitence and strengthened Faith.”

“As we manifest and celebrate the conclusion of these sacred seasons, I extend my heartfelt appreciation and blessings to each, and every one of you. It has been a time of profound reflection, spiritual growth, and communal unity, and I am inspired by the dedication and devotion demonstrated by believers of both faiths.”

Lent and Easter are an important part of the Christian calendar and so is the Ramadan in the Muslim calendar. Both are religious seasons of self-examination, penitence and strengthened Faith.

As we manifest and celebrate the conclusion of these sacred seasons, I extend my heartfelt appreciation and blessings to each, and every one of you. It has been a time of profound reflection, spiritual growth, and communal unity, and I am inspired by the dedication and devotion demonstrated by believers of both faiths.

To my dear Christian brothers and sisters, may the joy of the resurrection continue to illuminate your hearts and minds, filling you with hope, strength, and gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon you.

And to my esteemed Muslim brothers and sisters, may the blessings of the holy month of Ramadan remain with you, infusing your lives with the spirit of compassion, generosity, and spiritual fulfillment.

As we reflect on the significance of these holy events and the lessons they impart, let us carry forward the virtues of love, peace, and unity that they embody.

Let us continue to cherish the diversity that enriches our communities and strengthen the bonds of mutual respect and understanding among us. Our differences must not be hindrance to our shared prosperity and coexistence.

In the spirit of solidarity and brotherhood, may we move forward with renewed faith, conviction and determination to build a transformed Sierra Leone where passion, tolerance, respect, and empathy for each other prevail.

With warmest regards,

SAMURA Kamara

All Peoples’ Congress Party (APC)

God bless Sierra Leone.
