Head pastor of God’s Haven Ministry, Prophet Jones K. Korsinah has charged Christians to go deeper into God’s love in order to make the resurrection of His son Jesus Christ more meaningful and impactful.
In so doing they (Christians) will be able to win more lost souls for God’s Kingdom. This is because “There are deeper things in God’s love and deep ends come from the deep,” as the Bible has maintained, Prophet Korsinah stated.
Prof. Korsinah made this charge during a sermon in the church’s auditorium – The Purpose Assembly, off the Kaneshie–Kasoa Road last Sunday, April 9 2023 (Resurrection Sunday day) off the Kasoa.
Later in an interview, he indicated that Christ’s death and resurrection were purposely meant for the salvation of mankind, especially the last ones. Subsequently, in accordance with this charge in Mark 16:15 “Go into the World..” In this regard. This is because it behoves on mankind to delve deeper into God’s love and whoever loves God must love man, as stated in John 21:15.
Expatiating on this, Prof. Korsinah pointed out that when Jesus asked Peter. “Does thou love me? And Peter answered “yes, Lord you know I love you,” Jesus then charged him” then feed my sheep and lambs”.
According to him, what Jesus meant by this was that, in so doing, Peter will surely show that he loves Jesus and by taking proper care of them will mean that Peter really loves Jesus and not just being around him.
Prof. Korsinah explained further that by “Sheep” Jesus meant the existing or the established members of the church and “Lambs” means the new members, and thus winning souls for Christ has therefore been through his death and resurrection, which has given us some liberation. He was however quick to point out that even though there is crisis around, some are making it through the power and wisdom of God.
Systems Around
The prophet noted that there are systems in place such as governances, Judiciary, Economy, Health, Education and even mafia groups that control the community, society and the world at large. He made mention of such a system as the LGBTQ+1, which is clandestinely preaching tis message to the youth and students.
He maintained that in the face of these, Christians should not relent in their soul winning mission, lest they make the death and resurrection of Jesus meaningless and render the world doomed.
Prophet Korsinah noted also that already there are nagging crisis such as famine, economic crisis, diseases and many others facing mankind. This does not mean that Christians should throw their hands in despair to spell doom for the world in “which we live,” he admonished.
We should not only seek to conduct crusades on parks where only the needy and venerable go, but also target hard core members of the society such as politicians, chiefs, opinion Leaders, mafia groups etc. going deeper also involves sacrifice and going the extra mile to reach those people!” he exclaimed.
He indicated that taking the Gospel deeper also means taking such risk by even preaching to gangsters, “It is by this that, we make the death and resurrection of Jesus more meaningful, impactful, far reading and far fetching,” He concluded.
