District Assembly Elections: Selorm Kofi Adzivor outlines Vision

Popular Journalist and youth activist, Selorm Kofi Adzivor, has outlined his vision ahead of the District Assembly Elections in December.

Kofi Adzivor who is contesting to represent the people of the Takla Electoral Area in the Ho Municipality told journalists in an interview that, it is his plan to expand the local economy of the area through the establishment of a market in Takla-Tokor, a community under the electoral area in question.

According to the young media practitioner, this market when established, shall see people from the Republic of Togo and other areas around Ho, coming to sell their farm produce.

“This, will put money in the pockets of my people” he said.

He was speaking on the sidelines of a debate organized by the Electoral Commission of Ghana.

In the area of health, provision of health center in Takla- Gborgame, completion of work on the Takla Hodzo roads, commencement of work on the Takla Crocodile Pond Development program and the rolling out of an agribusiness project in the Takla Agbokope enclave are some of the other projects he spoks about.

According to him, it is his vision to see people of the Electoral Area more united for development. Touching on sports development, Mr. Adzivor spoke on plans to establish the Takla United football club to unearth young talents in the area.

The Electoral Commission’s Returning Officer in charge of the Ho Municipality, Samuel J. K. Kosipa, who chaired the program asked the electorates to eschew violence and make thier choices in unity.

He educated them on processes regarding the impending elections and how important it is for them to come out and vote on 17th December 2019.
