“Do something about our road” – Buoyem Benkumhene pleads

Techiman Buoyem Benkumhene, Nana Ameyaw Antwi Boasiako II, has called on the Bono East Regional Minister, Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan, to address the deteriorating state of their road.

Nana made this plea as residents of Buoyem and its surrounding communities continue to face challenges in transportation due to the poor road condition.

According to him, the call on the Regional Minister has become necessary after several calls on the District Assembly concerning their road have been ignored. He emphasized on the importance of road infrastructure in enhancing economic development and improving the quality of life for the community.

“We Nananom are very serious about the Buoyem road because the youth are of the view that we are not doing anything about it which is not true, we have taken all the necessary steps in getting our road fixed but nothing is being done about it so we plead on the regional minister to do something about our road.” He pleaded

Nana Ameyaw Antwi Boasiako II, explained that, Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan since his appointment as the Bono East Regional Minister has been very beneficial to the region in terms of developmental projects but urged the Minister to prioritize infrastructure development to support the growth and prosperity of the region.

“We can all attest to the fact that the minister is doing very well in terms of developing the region, the minister is about to construct a university and also a sugar factory in the region which is very good but we at Buoyem need our road to be fixed because transportation has become very problematic for us.” Nana Ameyaw explained.

He further said that,  “we will soon hold elections so they should let us know if they will do our road for us or not, so that we can know what to do. That’s all I can say for now.”
