The Bono East Regional Minister, Hon Adu Gyan, has urged delegates who are supposed to vote in this year’s regional elections of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) not to vote for the sake of it but for competent and energetic leaders.
According to him, the NPP wants to break the record of the Eight (8) years of leaders and to do so, they have to get leaders who can see the future and fight for it.
“We the Ministers and Members of Parliament can’t do this work alone unless we get help from the national to the branch level, especially the region which holds the constituency and the branch.
“It is about time we vote for good leaders and not monetary issues because each and every one need development in his or her life,” he stated.
He pleaded with the delegate and supporters to calm down for the election to hold in a peaceful and harmonic environment.
“The police are here to protect you, not to harm you, so let’s cope with them for a peaceful election,” he added
He said this when he addressed delegates and party members on the regional delegate conference and election which is being held in Kintampo in the Bono East Region.
