Drama as Tsatsu Tsikata causes stir and does the ‘unexpected’ at the Supreme Court today

Today, February 5, 2021 marked the Day 10 of the hearing of the petition filed by Mr. Mahama at the Supreme Court. Mr. Mahama has registered his displeasure over the outcome of the disputed 2020 general elections and praying the Court to dismiss and conduct another elections. His argument rests on grounds that his exclusive audit defies the claim that Nana Akuffo Addo got more than fifty percent of the total valid votes cast.

The 3rd witness for Mahama, Mr. Robert Joseph Mettle-Nunoo appeared in a video conference to testify on behalf of the Petitioner. Mr. Rojo Mettle Nunoo was one of the agents for the NDC in the National Collation strong room and could be assumed to have facts about what actually transpired at the centre.

Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata argues that there is no grounds for any part of the statement to be dismissed as they all account for what happened on December 7, 2020. Unexpectedly, he responded to some of the specific paragraphs that had earlier been objected.
