An outspoken member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ho-Central Constituency of the Volta Region, Oscar Bedzrah, has mocked president Akufo-Addo’s government saying Satan is taking notes from the President’s Government.
In an interview with Ho-Based Kuul FM with regards to the recent town hall meeting held at the Freedom Hotel in Ho on Friday March 4, Bedzra noted that the “government has still refused to listen to Ghanaians despite the ongoing public outcry on the E-levy, by this action of the NPP, it has become necessary for Satan to learn from the way and manner President Akufo-Addo is running his second term after all the promises on economic stability”.
He said questions were sieved and predetermined by organisers of the Town Hall meeting in Ho which made it easy for the NPP to relegate some of the questions to the background.
When asked if he agreed on the chaos that led to the fight in Parliament, Oscar Bedzra replied that “…the fight in Parliament was in the general interest and well-being of the Ghanaian populace which sought to protect their hard earned monies”.
The outspoken NDC boy commended the minority in parliament for being firm on their stance with respect to the controversial E-Levy. He urged them on.
In a related development, Oscar Bedzra urged the government to withdraw the E-LEVY from parliament and introduce other tax alternatives which will be embraced by the general Ghanaian populace.
