Special Police Team Sent to Takoratwene after Discovery of 2 Headless Bodies

The two victims according to reports, had their heads cut off with other parts of their bodies also missing as well as gunshot wounds at their backs.

The Ghana Police Service has deployed a specialized investigation team to Takoratwene, a town near Maame Krobo in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

This is in response to the recent murder of some two herdsmen in the area.

The two victims according to reports, had their heads cut off with other parts of their bodies also missing as well as gunshot wounds at their backs.

A statement released by the Police on Thursday, May 30, 2024, said it is working closely with family members of the victims and community leaders to find a long lasting solution to the incident.

The police has however urged the community to remain calm and confident, as they work to bring the perpetrators to book.
